PEOPLE WE WORK WITH
J.L. GALACHE, PhD
Asteroid Prospector &
CTO @ Aten Engineering
“After having given dozens of talks in my career, there was still a lot I was able to learn from the Explainables, which is helping me grow as a presenter. Seeing the FDL participants improve their presentations after the Explainables sessions tells me I'm not alone!”
SARA JENNINGS
Producer, NASA Frontier Development Lab
“The Explainables were able to help our researchers feel confident in sharing their highly technical results in an engaging and intelligent way. You could see the change in the way the material was presented after just a couple of days of workshop exercises. The Explainables challenged our researchers to think differently and overall improved the presentation of their work through lasting life lessons. I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Ludmila Carone
Astrophysicist, MPIA
“The workshop was ideally suited to the specific needs of a postdoctoral researcher. I could immediately apply several concepts to a highly competitive observation proposal that I was working on.”
JAMES PARR
Director, NASA Frontier Development Lab
“Science communication is an art form, which makes it particularly challenging to balance the language of cautious technical progress and the wonder and potential of discovery. The Explainables team are uniquely accomplished at finding this balance - they are scientists with the souls of storytellers and we were thrilled with the results they got working with our FDL researchers.”
